I fell in love with this Calvin Klein faux leather skirt the moment I saw it at the Macy’s shopping event hosted by Reah Norman. She was wearing this skirt and looked amazing, so I politely asked where she found it and rushed over to find my size…lol I didn’t really run, let’s just say I quickly glided across the room.
When I bought the skirt home, I knew that I wanted to wear it right away but didn’t have the look I wanted fully thought out so the skirt sat in my closet for almost two months now. This was unacceptable! I can’t lie, I probably looked at this skirt every single time I walked into my closet, so it’s crazy that it took me so long to wear it. Well, I must say it was well worth the wait. I LOVE this skirt. It’s super cute, comfortable and I can’t wait to try it with a more upscale look.
I was thinking of shortening the hem to give me more of a true skater skirt feel but I really like the look of it at the current length. Either way, I’m very happy that I made this purchase. To help jazz up the look but of course, keep it casual and simple I opted for an Old Navy Tee that I’ve had for a while, my moto jacket that I picked up from Nordstroms Rack by Blanc Noir, black wedge sneakers and I played up the accessories with a very cool statement necklace that I received in my swag bag from Marie Denee’s TCFturns5 event.
I really had fun rocking this look. It had a little edge, but was also playful. My hair with the “Roll Tuck Pin”, gave me a slight retro look.
